About Rips

RIPS® is the original rolling paper with an equally original heritage.

During the 70s and early 80s, under the brand name FLAG, RIPS® made cigarette papers sold in striking Union Jack, Welsh and various European flag packaging. The product range was supported by a cheeky advertising campaign targeting the male roller with the strapline "For a man like you..."

1982 saw the launch of RIPS® papers on the roll, available in Regular Red and Kingsize Blue widths. It was four years later that Green Rice Paper was added to the range and a further eight years before the 100% Hemp range was introduced.

2005 saw the development of the Xtra Thin papers and 'Flavours' followed shortly in 2006, helping to attract a new experimental audience of rollers to the brand.

The papers are now sold all over the world to male and female hand rollers alike; who naturally expect quality with every roll!

The RIPS® logo and ornate packaging designs have transcended three generations of rollers - the look of this legendary packaging is now in your hands.
